Seriously, Dude. What's The Point of This Blog?

I'm glad you asked.

I don't know yet. This could become all sorts of things, but as I write this it's just somewhere for me to offload all the food based thoughts I've garnered over my 40+ years on this rock.

I will talk about food culture here (UK - although we're not very united these days) and my thoughts and experiences of food cultures whenever I travel. I will try foods I've never tried before, and I'll try brands I've never tried before. There will be successes and failures, and I'm here for all of it. 

I do have several recipe book concepts that I will also be working on alongside this, so from time to time I will probably post the odd recipe so people can give it try and let me know how it works in their kitchen (different ovens cook at different speeds et al - I'll come back to this in a post at some point.)

I also want to, at some point, take requests. This is of course assuming that this blog picks up any traction at all and we get a community of like-minded people that love food and aren't overly serious about it either. 

It should be fun, people.
